Hiya!
My name is Rosie (she/they). I've known I wanted to be an actor since the tender age of three, when I was dazzled by the animated Cinderella movie and told my parents that I intended to do whatever that was for the rest of forever. Since then, I've kept my word.
My fervent passion for theatre propelled me to New York, where I studied at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and was furthermore accepted into their prestigious Company for an additional third year. It was here that I honed my abilities and discovered a deeply rooted love for devised theatre, Shakespeare and the classics, dance, and clowning.

A little bit about Rosie
Theatre has always been a sacred art form to me. I learned at an early age that it could offer a blissful escape, and then, through my training, I realized that it could also be a means of discovering one's most authentic form of self. I strive to be the type of artist that inspires positive, political change through my art, either via agitprop theatre or re-imagined classical theatre.
While I love straight acting, my love for performance is rooted in musical theatre. I continue to train in dance and vocal technique with the hope that musical theatre is a pillar of my career!
Besides performing, I'm a big fan of fashion. Or rather, of stretching the boundaries of fashion. I buy almost exclusively vintage and second-hand. My favorite eras are the 50s, 60s, and 80s. My aesthetic is essentially mix-matching iconic eras, loud colors, and bold patterns to create unique outfits inspired by historical fashion and maximalism.

The Academy's Company is a prestigious third-year performance-based program at The Academy that requires students to re-audition. Company season begins with a six week intensive where members receive additional, specialized training. Then, members go on to perform in three series. My Company credits are Feste in Twelfth Night, Meryl in the devised clown show, MAD MAD MAD!, Blair in the student film The Lease, and Maggie Mundy in Dancing at Lughnasa.

The American Academy of Dramatic Arts is the oldest acting conservatory in the United States, and boasts an impressive alumni list consisting of Danny Devito, Lauren Bacall, Grace Kelly, and Paul Rudd, among others! Their curriculum includes acting training based in the Meisner technique mingled with Alexander Technique, mask work and physical acting, Linklater vocal technique, and camera technique. This invaluable training has helped me to develop a specific and meaningful process of approaching new characters.
Broadway Artists Alliance
2016-2020
Broadway Artists Alliance is the top training program for aspiring musical theatre artists in New York City. Founded by Jennifer Johns-Grasso with the help of Bob Cline of Bob Cline Casting, BAA provides intense, specialized training for students that accumulates in an industry showcase at the end of each session. I had the pleasure of studying through BAA for five summers.
